• Calculator Inputs: When you use the BMR & Protein Calculator, you enter health and demographic details such as height, weight, age, gender, activity level, and (if applicable) pregnancy, nursing, or menopause status, plus an optional desired weight. These inputs are processed in your browser to estimate calorie and protein needs and are not stored on our servers or linked to your account.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including features used, progress history, and achievement data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate personalized weekly plant food lists based on your preferences
• Track your progress, including foods eaten and weekly goals met
• Provide an optional "Add to Google Calendar" link so you can set up your own weekly reminder. This opens your own Google Calendar in your browser; Week30 does not access, read, or store any data from your calendar
• Calculate and display your estimated calorie and protein needs through the BMR & Protein Calculator
• Calculate and display achievements and progress history
• Improve our services, including AI-powered food suggestions
• Maintain the security and integrity of our platform

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services (e.g., email delivery, AI integration) that may have access to limited data necessary to perform their functions.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

• Delete: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — including your food preferences, weekly lists, and progress history — at any time from Account Settings. This action cannot be undone.
• Reminders: Calendar reminders are created on your own Google Calendar and are fully under your control. You can edit, snooze, or remove them directly in your calendar app at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and provide core functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

Week30 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. AI-Powered Features

Week30 uses AI to suggest plant foods similar to your preferences. To generate these suggestions, your selected food preferences are sent to an AI language model for processing. We use AI models to enhance your experience but do not use your data to train external AI systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The updated policy will be effective upon posting, and continued use of Week30 constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
